• to acquire the work habit you will be expected to demonstrate when you start your careers.
  • You may have one free absence for medical or work reasons and two free lates.
  • Beyond that you are risking failure in the course.
  • If you have work, family, or other time conflicts, please drop this class and sign up for another one at a more convenient time.
• Active participation in the class.
  • You are required to bring your textbooks and supplies to all classes,
  • to take part in group work,
  • to ask questions when you have them,
  • to answer questions when called upon,
  • to complete your homework before class,
  • to place your attention on the course work, and
  • to turn your assignments in when they are due.
  • Failure to do so will negatively impact your course grade. Attention to the work.
• During class you must pay attention to what is going on in class. Private conversations about personal concerns are not allowed during class time and will lower your grade for the day. Offensive language is not permitted.

All cell phones, beepers, pagers, alarm clocks, etc.,. must be turned off BEFORE you come to class to avoid distracting your fellow classmates from their work. Students whose electronic devices go off during class will have points deducted from their participation that day.
